MD0898 is a black, high molecular weight PE80 MDPE co-polymer, developed as a general purpos

e resin for use in pressure and non-pressure pipes, where service life to 100 years is required. MD0

898 offers excellent chemical resistance and slow crack growth resistance. MD0898 will provide ex

cellent resistance to the effects of ultra-violet light exposure in outdoor applications due to well d

ispersed carbon black.
MD0898 has been designed for extrusion into a full range of pipes, where medium density, PE80 T

ype B resins are required. MD0898 is suitable for use in the transport of a wide range of fluids for in

dustrial, rural and mining applications, including potable water. Suitability for use in any application

should be determined by appropriate performance testing.
MD0898 complies to AS/NZS 4131 2010 for PE80 Type B pipe compounds. It is intended to be used

in pipes conforming to AS/NZS 4130.
