The E Series contains none of the PFOA compound (ammonium salt) used as a convention

al PTFE polymerizable emulsifier. The CD Grade products are new, environmentally compat

ible PTFE fine powders offering all the characteristics of the conventional PTFE, without co

ntaining PFOA.

The CD grade products can be used in seal tapes, stretch films, tubes, small diameter rods, e

lectrical wire coatings, etc., by paste extrusion with an aid.
The CD grade products are easily fibrillated by the application of shearing force. They can th

erefore be used as flame retardant additives to improve the melt tension of thermoplastic res

in. Only very small amounts confer the flame retardant effects.
